... and athletes with a passion for jump ropes.
We have always been a site that is a bit like the "other" sports blog that is a place for jump ropers that are not interested in traditional sports. We have always tried to be a source for quality journalistic reports that are also passionate about the jump ropes that we write about.
Now that we no longer have a team of writers to write our daily stories, we've taken those duties in order to cover the news and opinions that are going around on the front page. We've also moved to a news content model, where we publish a summary of what's happening in the media in a format that is easy to digest and is also news worthy. The end result has been a less formal and more conversational approach to "Sports." Our main goal is to keep the news at the front page of the site as a source of discussion for jump ropers that are interested in sports and may even cover it professionally. We also want to provide a source for interesting videos and blogs for those who may be interested in what's going on in the world of sports. For over a year now, we've had dozens of talented writers contributing to the site, but we've decided that it's time for us to be more inclusive and allow more people to be involved in the site. The first thing that we are doing is having some writers come on board and contribute to the site.

We'll have more on that to come soon. We are also looking into potentially hiring more writers to cover the news content of the site and to expand our coverage of the world of rope-jumping. We've had readers on the site for many years, so hopefully it's not too hard to find what you are looking for. We've also noticed a significant drop in traffic to the site. The reason for this is that news is not the number one post for most new users, especially those on the web who are not on Facebook. These types of people find out about a story only after we post it.
