We are what we repeatedly train. I believe that we have the ability to be excellent athletes and rope jumpers all on the same day.
How we train is what defines us. If we don’t like jump rope training, we become un-athletes. Over the past two and a half years, I have had a lot of feedback from all over, including from students. Through this feedback, I have been able to understand what is most important for jump rope training.
I believe the time has come to share what I have learned, and how I have applied it. We all know jump rope training is hard work. It is one of the hardest things you will ever do in your life. It is also one of the most rewarding—when we are able to reach our goals because of the jump rope training we do over the long run. When we realize that the hard work of our training is well worth it. It is also the key to the success that is within us. If we do not like jump rope training, it is easy to become disillusioned with the pursuit of excellence, and to let go of the process. If we don’t like jump rope training, we will not be satisfied until we have done it all. We become un-athletes, because we lose sight of what it is we are jump rope training for, and why we are doing it in the first place. My goal is for you to feel fully satisfied with jump rope training, so you can feel like you are achieving excellence at every level. It is hard work, but there are many rewards.
